I didn't really love TPoBaWF, but I loved the movie a lot! In my opinion, it was better than the book which is a first O.o I hope you enjoy Jolene Perry's new book since her writing is gorgeous and her characters so relatable. Happy reading and have a wonderful weekend!

I never got the chance to read Perks, but the movie was pretty good. Banished sounds really cool and interesting too! Enjoy your books! :)
ReplyDeleteI've had The Summer I Found You for a few weeks now but still haven't got to it yet, hoping it's good! I really enjoyed The Perks of Being a Wallflower, and wasn't left disappointed by the movie either. Enjoy them all. My STS

ReplyDeleteHere's my STS!
I LOVED Perks when I read it recently! My only regret is that I didn't read it back in high school, because I think I would have loved it even more then.
ReplyDeleteJust like Shoshanah I didn't read Perks until right around when the movie was being released, and I was surprised by how much I enjoyed it. House of Ivy & Sorrow interesting too, even though it's new to me. Happy reading :)

Ohhh, wonderful haul this week! I personally found Perks not as great as it was hyped up to be. Hopefully you enjoy it a lot more than I did. The Summer I Found You looks like a cute contemporary, can't wait to read your review on it.
ReplyDeleteI really need to get stuck into my Netgalley TBR list, I seriously can't control myself from requesting and I never get around to most books on time. :(
Perks are amazing, one of my all time favorites books ever. <3

I really liked Perks, and thought the movie was so great, too. Hope you enjoy!
ReplyDeleteSophie Littlefield is an author I've been meaning to try I've heard good things about her. I'm curious about House of Ivy & Sorrow but also wary bc the author's other book was not that great - or so I was told I actually skipped it due to the reviews. But I love the cover!! Great haul!
ReplyDeleteOoh, can't wait to hear what you think of The Perks of Being a Wallflower!! It was a hugely memorable read for me and I just adored Charlie. The movie was excellent, as well. House of Ivy and Sorrow has been on my radar for a long while and I'm really curious to start reading some early reviews for it! Really hope it lives up to my expectations. Hope you enjoy all these reads!!
ReplyDeleteI love that cover for The Perks of Being a Wallflower. It's one of those rare books that I like, like, EVERY cover version. I hope you enjoy your books! (:
