What do I read next?

Hello beautiful people of the blog-o-sphere! I'm kind of in a dire situation right now where I'll be needing all the help I can possibly get. I have TONS of seemingly awesome books here that I want to read, but don't know which to read first. Help me choose, please?

The Lost Saint: A Dark Divine NovelMatchedThe VespertineSecrets and Shadows: A 13 to Life Novel
WarpedPersonal DemonsA Touch MortalThe Knife of Never Letting Go: Chaos Walking: Book One
SteelBright Young ThingsThe ReplacementThe False Princess
If you have reviewed any of these books, you can leave links on the comments. I would really appreciate that. :)

  2. I have reviewed:
    Warped: http://abackwardsstory.blogspot.com/2011/01/warped-by-maurissa-guibord-debut-author.html
    The False Princess: http://abackwardsstory.blogspot.com/2011/01/false-princess-by-eilis-oneal-debut.html
    Matched: http://abackwardsstory.blogspot.com/2010/11/matched-by-ally-condie.html

All three were great books. I'm about to read Steel and The Vespertine myself!

I'm really excited to read Steel. If you read Delirium recently, you might want to hold off on Matched for a while. If not, read Matched before Delirium. I liked it more b/c I read it first, but Delirium is my favorite of the two similar ideas.

I really loved both Warped and The False Princess. Perhaps Warped a bit more b/c it had more romance. Um, and UNICORNS!

  3. @Jessica yes they are! All the more reason to seek suggestions on what to read next.

@A Backwards Story thank you! I really enjoyed your review of Warped. I'm going to read it first and then The False Princess. I am looking forward to your reviews of Steel and The Vespertine!

  4. Most of these are on my wishlist so I'd love to have your dilemma. Personally, I'd go with either The Lost Saint or Warped.

  5. A lot of great books to choose from! I am waiting to read A Touch Mortal, so I would suggest that...but The Replacement looks SO good...so I would suggest that...I recently read Personal Demons ( http://bitly.com/gRnWGI ) and would HIGHLY suggest that...so there, my top three, in random order!

Great reading list though...you shouldn't be bored for a while!

    Enjoy,
    Cici

  6. @A Backwards Story just finished Warped. It's fantastic! I love the ending!

@A Canadian Girl there lies the problem. All these books were on my wishlist too. But now that I have them, choosing which to read first is... stressing me out. :(

@Cici all of them looks yummy! Thanks for the suggestions. :)

  7. I read the Vespertine and here is my review.

Steel and the False Princess are top picks for my TBR pile though! It is a dilemma figuring out what to read with so many good books, but I would rather have that than nothing to read!

  8. I'm *so* glad my review helped you! Yay, and you loved Warped! That makes me incredibly happy. I can't wait to see your review and see what you loved about it!

    *so happy!*

And Graceling is one of my all-time favorites as well! Not to add to your already-long TBR pile or anything, but two books that reminded me of Cashore last year are coming out in paperback this month: Brightly Woven by Alexandra Bracken and Mistwood by Leah Cypress.

  9. @A Backwards Story: The books you rec'd definitely made me incredibly happy too! Thank you. <33

And oh, paperback!! I'll keep my eyes on those two once my book buying ban has been lifted. :)

  10. The one book moved to the end of June, so you have more of a lapse...always good for bans! Haha, if I ever went on a book-buying ban, I wound wind up spending too much money coming off it in order to catch up with everything I missed! ^^;

  11. Love your blog title! And what a great bunch of books you have here: I haven't heard of a lot of them, which is exciting; love encountering new books on blogs. I've been thinking of reading The Knife of Never Letting Go for a while, just because it has such a great title; I'll be interested if you read it to see what you think.

I reviewed Matched on my blog, and I highly recommend it.
