Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme hosted by MizB at Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
- Grab your current read.
- Open to a random page.
- Share two (2) "teaser" sentences from somewhere on that page.
- Be careful not to include spoilers! (make sure that what you share doesn't give too much away!) You don't want to ruin the book for the others!)
- Share the title and author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR lists if they liked your teasers.
Aliette's slitted eyes grew even more narrow. If she'd possessed lips, Donna suspected they would be curled into an expression of scorn right about now. "You are in no position to demand anything, halfling."
- The Iron Witch, Karen Mahoney

Nice, I really like that one it shows real promise. I'm going to guess Aliette is some sort of snake.

ReplyDeleteYou're the second blogger I've seen tease this novel today. I really like your teaser; it's so descriptive! I've been on the fence about this book b/c I saw mixed reviews and didn't know about putting so much time into a long book, but now I'm re-thinking that decision. Two teasers in one day? I think I'll be reading The Iron Witch after all!
ReplyDeleteThanks for commenting on my TT! I love that you also just finished reading DG! UGH, that ENDING! What do you mean I need to wait a YEAR for the next book? *claws come out*
